Welcome to eight packed days of film festival in Haugesund 18 - 26 August 2010, including New Nordic Films 18 - 21 August and the Children's Film Fest 22 - 25 August.
Press screenings prior to the festival
The festival will organise press screenings in Oslo before the festival starts in August.
New Nordic Films
The market screenings, Works in Progress and the Nordic Co-Production and Film Financing Forum are closed for the press. The press is welcome to the seminars. In addition The Norwegian International Film Festival will present a brand new Nordic sidebar whith screenings of high quality Nordic films for press and festival audience.
Press photos and press material
The festival catalogue with write-ups about the films will be published on our web site the same day as the press conference. Press material and photos may be downloaded from the
Filmweb media server.
Press conferences during the festival
Press conferences during the festival will take place immediately after the morning press screenings, mainly at Hotel Maritim, in the Maritim Foyer on the ground floor. Press screenings of films in which the festival guests have participated will usually be programmed at 9 am every morning. Information about such screenings will be distributed to every accredited journalist. It will be available in the press area at Rica Maritim, as well as the journalists’ mailboxes in the press room.
Mobil phone numbers and e-mail addresses for distributors
The Festival Press Responsible will assemble a special list of mobile phone numbers and e-mail addresses of the press contacts of the various film distribution agencies. This will be delivered to every accredited journalist.
