New Nordic Films

New Nordic Films is an annual market at the long established Norwegian International Film Festival in Haugesund. From its start in 1995 we have expaneded and cultivated the event year by year, and New Nordic Films is now the most important international market place for new Nordic features.

This unique opportunity for international distributors, TV-buyers and festival programmers to see new Nordic features, also offers a special opportunity to meet with Nordic filmmakers, producers, agents, buyers and distributors, through three intensive days.
The New Nordic Films' features represent different genres, and all aim to please a market of wide range, in and outside the Nordic countries and will in addition present feature films for children and young people produced after last year's event, as well as documentaries.

- Seminars for producers, directors, distributors, film commissioners and the press.

New Nordic Films er et årlig marked i tilknytning til Den norske filmfestivalen. Markedet er en unik mulighet for internasjonale distributører, tv-selskaper, festival-direktører, kinosjefer, filmskapere og presse til å se ny nordisk film.

New Nordic Films er en spesiell anledning for filmarbeidere til å treffe andre nordiske filmskapere, produsenter, agenter, kjøpere og distributører i løpet av festivalen. Filmene som vises representerer ulike genre, og det legges vekt på å nå markeder utenfor de nordiske landene. NNF arrangeres i siste del av festivalen.

Som en del av New Nordic Films presenteres nye nordiske spillefilmer, filmer for barn og unge, samt dokumentarfilmer, for den nordiske filmbransjen og internasjonale distributører.
