The Festival Award Winners 2008
Thursday 23 August, the 36th Norwegian International Film Festival in
Haugesund marked its official closing with Erik Poppe’s Troubled Water. The
screening of this film served at the same time as the start of the
festival’s Nordic film market, New Nordic Films.

The Amanda Awards winners 2008
With five and four Amanda awards respectively, The Kautokeino Rebellion and
The Man Who Loved Yngve became this year's great winners when Amanda,
the Norwegian film award, was presented live on TV2 from Haugesund Concert
Hall saturday night.
