Israelske Gal Gadot var Miss Israel i 2004 og jobbet som modell før hun flyttet til Hollywood. Etter hun emigrerte har hun hatt roller i store Hollywood-produksjoner som " Fast & Furious" (2009), "Date Night" (2010), "Knight and Day" (2010) og "Fast and Furious Five" (2011). I 2017 spilte Gadot tittelrollen i DC Comics storfilm "Wonder Woman", til stor jubel fra både publikum og anmeldere.
