Både "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" fra 2011 og "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes" fra 2014 fikk gode skussmål fra filminteresserte verden over, men nå ser det ut til at trilogiens avsluttende kapittel reiser seg over dem alle. I skrivende stund ligger "War for the Planet of the Apes" med sterke 95 % på Rotten Tomatoes.
