A Quiet Place 2

Han sa dette:

- If you told me five years ago that an almost-silent film starring the very funny guy Jim from The Office would have been a hit at Paramount, I would have said well, I should go work at Paramount.

Jim fra The Office gjorde på alle måter en knalljobb i den første filmen, bak og foran kamera, det gjorde også frøken Poppins, Emily Blunt!

Vi elsket den første og er superspente på hva de kommer opp med neste gang.

Vi vet at ikke alle oppfølgere blir like bra som forventet, men ut ifra det Krasisnski sa til Collider at vi trua:

- Why I had this little idea that’s now gotten bigger is most sequels are about a villain returning or a hero returning, and you have to build this entire world around just the idea that I have a hero or a villain. That’s a lot, and I think that’s where a lot of sequels go wrong because as much as you love that hero or villain, the entire thing is fabricated just to make that person work. With A Quiet Place 2, we have the world. So it’s actually the world that’s built, it’s the idea that the rest of the world is going through this exact same experience. Are there other people that have to survive like this? It’s that idea of living through the set of circumstances, not again in the same way obviously, but exploring it more. You only got to do it intimately for a small amount of time, so what happens next?

Krasinski skal skrive manuset på oppfølgeren, men det er uvisst om han skal regissere.

Manusforfatter Scott Beck kan melde om at det er nok å ta av i idébanken.

- There are so many discarded set pieces, too, just hiding out on Word documents on our computer. So, yeah, there are certainly so many stories you could tell. It's just really, at the end of the day, who are the characters in this and what does this situation mean to that dynamic?

Vi tipper oppfølgeren fortsetter i det delte postapokalyptiske universet, men hvilken historie vi får gleder vi oss til å finne ut av.

- It's not like Alien or Jaws where the main villain is the thing you're repeating; it's an actual entire set of rules and the circumstance that the world has undergone that you can play in very different facets, uttalte Krasinski til Hollywood Reporter, for en tid tilbake.

Og la til at denne nye filmen ikke nødvendigvis skal følge familien fra den første filmen.

- In our circumstance, the thing that the audience loved most was the world. That's the cool thing that you could explore on and on. This isn't a sequel at all — this is the second book in a series of books. It's a widening of a world.

Så hvem vet, kanskje får vi se Krasinski og Emily sammen igjen, kanskje følger vi en ny familie.

Før Emily Blunt hoppet inn i denne creepy filmen sa hun dette:

- This is going to be the scariest part I'll ever play!

Krasinski spurte:

- Why is that?

- Because I am always pretending my fears in movies. Like in The Girl on the Train, I'm pretending to be this out-of-control alcoholic. And in this movie, I'm actually acting out my everyday fears. Granted, not creatures roaming around in the darkness, but keeping our kids safe and the inevitability of fearing the worst is something that we think about all the time.

Det hadde vært utrolig kult om Blunt er med i oppfølgeren, vi krysser det som krysses kan.

Håper selvfølgelig på å se resten av familien også!

Siden manuset utarbeides as we speak så blir det nok en stund til vi får se en trailer.

Men når vi vet hva plottet blir og hvem som blir med så lover vi å kaste oss over tastaturet og få den livsviktige informasjon ut til deg umiddelbart!
