Up until a near-fatal crash in 1999, Aaron Baker soared 40-feet in the air on a roaring motocross bike. Now all he wants to do is walk. Weaving through the film’s story of his recovery is the epic challenge he sets himself—to walk across Death Valley unsupported on foot. The day after the crash Aaron was declared clinically dead. Since then he’s reclaimed more than 70% mobility in all four limbs. How did he do it? Given his dire prognosis, that he had a one-in-a-million chance of feeding himself again, Aaron is a living wonder. Especially since, after only one year of physical therapy, his insurance timed out and he was left stranded and suicidal.
