The Boatman

Miguel is a grizzled, tequila swilling, human smuggler never far from death. Dodging helicopters, drug-traffickers and border patrol, he ferries desperate migrants across the river. His passengers think he is charmed because of his unblemished record, but the locals call him Maldito, because he is cursed, caught between the living and the dead.
