Dirty Cargo

In May 2007 a tank exploded in a small village in western Norway. The explosion generated an intense stench, which caused illness among the population. We tell the story of how commodity trader Trafigura used the facility as part of a shady production of low quality gasoline bound for West Africa. The gasoline was illegal to sell in Europe.
