Paradesi

Paradesi is an upcoming film directed by Bala. Starring Adharvaa, Dhansika and Vedhika in the lead role. The film is based on real life incidents that took place before independence in the 1930s

The National Award winning filmmaker's next venture 'Paradesi' faithfully follows the first setence.

The film is said to be inspired from Malayalam novel 'Eriyum Thanal'. Initially Bala apparently decided to opt for the same title for the movie also.

However he changed the title as Paradesi later. "The story revolves around a family, especially a father and mother, who undergo certain troubles because of their children. Adharva gets to play a lifetime role, quite like other protagonists of Bala's movies," they add.

Atharva is on cloud nine. He says, "I am so lucky to work with Bala sir so early in my career. It was a great learning experience."

While Vedhika and Dhanshika too are equally thrilled, G V Prakash Kumar, who has also joined hands with Bala for the first time, says, "It was a totally different experience scoring music for this film."

Vairamuthu has penned the lyrics and he says Bala has come out with a touching script. "I have tried to add more life to it with my lines," he adds.
