This moving drama depicts the horrors of war. A soldier suffers horrific injuries on the last day of WW1. His legs and arms are amputated, he eyes, ears, nose and mouth are destroyed - and he begs to die. Then he asks to be used a shocking demonstration of the devastation of war.
