Timothy lives in a working class neighbourhood in Rhode Island with his gruff father. He becomes caught up in the 70s drug scene and has one too many brushes with the cops. To stave off jail, his dad sends him to go to posh prep school in Connecticut. He's got to graduate or else, while learning about life and love.
