The upcoming Bejoy Nambiar's thriller flick is expected to be one of 2013's blockbuster movies.
David (Tamil: ??????) is an upcoming Indian Tamil action-thriller film directed by Bejoy Nambiar, starring Vikram and Jiiva in the titular roles, alongside Tabu, Lara Dutta, Isha Sharvani and Nassar. An altered version with the same title David featuring a slightly different cast was simultaneously shot in Hindi.
The plot revolves around the lives of two different men named David, who are about to take a step which is going to change their lives forever. David release date is confirmed as February 1, 2013.

Starring Vikram and Jiiva the film seems dark and gritty with a lot of surprises in store for the audience.The trailer of David which was recently released is an enthralling montage of scenes that makes the movie look like it has got a good mix of duets, punch dialogues and lots of action.
The concept of the movie is portrayed clearly in this 3 minute trailer- the lives of two different people with the same name 'David'. Vikram stars as a fisherman and Jiiva is a guitarist, looking for a breakthrough. Tabu, who has been missing from the screens of Kollywood cinema for a while, plays what looks the conscience of David telling his from right and wrong, not exactly in a way he always gets, but still. Isha Sharvani who plays a deaf and mute girl who falls for Vikram.
The music of the film created by Dub Sharma, Bramfatura, Anirudh Ravichander, Maatibaani, Modern Mafia, Remo Fernandes and Prashant Pillai keeps playing on you mind. It goes hand in hand with the pace of the movie.
The Hindi version of David is a story of three people sharing the same name. Neil Nitin Mukesh, Vikram and Vinay Virmani who plays Jiiva's character.
The concept, though familiar has been given a new outlook in the trailer. If the pace and excitement portrayed in the trailer is also in the movie, it could be a great watch. The trailer is gripping and certainly evokes a gotta-watch-this one feel! The gangster thriller is set to release this February, let's hope Bejoy doesn't let us down.
